The VAA4-HVL Central District is hosting the 2017 Spring Conference at Wintergreen Resort. During this conference volunteers will participate in educational workshops and tours while networking with other Virginia 4-H volunteers and faculty and staff.

Full Conference Registration – $60 includes 3 meals (does not include lodging)

Conference Registration form must be postmarked by March 10, 2017 to avoid the $15 late fee.

Some of the workshops will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Being prepared for first aid situations in your 4-H activity (not a certification course)
• 4-H club money handling procedures
• Judging workshop for 4-H contests (how to judge public speaking, presentations, and science fair)
• Integrating Character Counts into your 4-H activities (not a character counts training)
• Computational thinking (using English to write, and then play, a simple video game)
• STEM workshops

Some of the tours will include:

• Cardinal Point Vineyard and Winery
• Brew Ridge Trail
• Antiquing
• Wintergreen Nature Foundation
• Guided Hike at Wintergreen
