1st Annual Methyl Bromide Alternatives Field Day at the Eastern Shore AREC

July 23rd, 2009 4-6 pm with dinner following

Fumigant and non-fumigant strategies will be discussed for the management of soil-borne diseases and weed pests in plasticulture production. Research plots containing alternative fumigants, new mulch technology, herbicide programs as wells as grafted plants will be on the field tour. A barbecue dinner will be served following the field tour. Please reply to Josh Freeman (joshfree@vt.edu) if you plan on attending so that we can accurately plan for dinner.
