Our network of black light trap operators are again monitoring corn earworm moths (CEW) and brown marmorated stink bugs (BMSB).  Numbers are very low this week, with Warsaw reporting 0.1 CEW and 0.3 BMSB per night; and Suffolk reporting 0.9 CEW and zero BMSB per night.  Thanks to Mary Beahm at the Eastern Virginia AREC and Dr. Herbert’s entomology crew at the Tidewater AREC for their reports this week.
